JD Jackson has a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in poetry, which led him to several years of teaching, editing, and writing soulless marketing content. Experience helped him shed the habit of tedious, purple prose. Now, he writes simple, pacey bangers where one good-hearted guy smooches far too many loyal babes.

He lives in Cascadia with his wife, two rescue cats, and way, way too many houseplants. When he's not working or writing, he's probably lifting, hiking, or playing classic TTRPGs with friends.
